To The Family.I was sadden to hear about Ms. Canaria's passing.I'm so thankful for the many years she allowed me to be a part of her family. This was way back in the day when I would spend the night with Robin. She was a beautiful person with a kind spirit. One of my memories of her was that amazing Sock It To Me Cake she would bake. RIP!

I've loved Canaria since I was 4 years old. She and Uncle Henry lived with us(Robert and Edith and Butch). This was just after he came back home from World War II. There where no apartments available for black people in the area. We all live together over 2 year. Betty Jean was born during that time. Both Edith and Robert worked and uncle Henry, as always usual, had two full times Job. So Canaria took care of me and my brother Butch. We had a joyful life. By that time Henry was able and ready be build a house for his family.
So Canania was my favorite aunt and has always been, one of my favorite people in the world. Those early years of my live helped me develop into someone who loves life.
So rest well, Canaria, Nov.21, I'll be age 78.
