Lucille Powell nee Crawford was born in Harrisburg, IL. She was the oldest of 10 children. She retired from the Chicago Board of Education. Mrs. Powell moved to Alexandria, VA 3 years ago. She is survived by her children James & William Powell and Donita Greene, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Carrie Fuller, Ollie Ulmer and Joan Elum and a host of other relatives and friends.
