We grew up with Hilton as children in Southwest Washington, DC. Hilton was always a gentleman or gentlechild. A Christian from the heart he always showed God's love to all. We went to Zion Baptist Church just a few doors from the Overton home. The parents would send all of the children to the church down the street for Sunday School. God's love was taught and shown through Hilton's actions and words. Rest in peace until we meet again. Tyrone and Oceola Young Briscoe...

Uncle Brother, you were one of the best examples of what a "Man" should be! Mr. Overton was a brilliant and dedicated professional. Every time I spoke with him I learned something. Compassionate, humanitarian, integrity are just a few terms that come to mind to describe Mr. Overton. He was a wonderful mentor to me and many others. I am grateful to have worked alongside him. He was dedicated to the Achievers!
