To the Conaway Family,,
Was recently informed by a former co-worker of Conaway's passing.
He was truly a nice a person with a great sense of humor. Everyone at work
called him Steel but I called him Captain. Every time he came into my presence I jokingly called him Captain and he would give me a salute. Enjoyed his sense of humor he will really be missed by all who knew him.

Deepest Sympathy,
Kim Owens (District Court Family)

Steel Bill as he was known, was a Proud member of the Federal Protective Service as a motor man. My heartfelt condolences to the family of the very powerful man/soldier/officer/Husband/Father/Grandfather who was always willing to help. May he rest in peace/will always be missed.

Cpl. Conaway Senior, in my mind, was a true angel on earth. I spent most of my career working with him in a more unique situation. As Director of the Mighty Sound of Maryland, I made the proverbial 911 call to him searching for solutions to protect my students from drunken-partisan fans at away games and bowl games. His solution, "You need the Motor Man."
From then on he traveled with the band, and very often on his motorcycle

I will never forget your positive words and great advice through out my 11 years in law enforcement. I only hope my career will be half as distinguished as yours Uncle Bill. I also will miss your unique since of humor and great smile. I love you Unc! Rest In Peace.

Prayers and Peace be unto your family Steel Bill.
I can still see you standing in your yard waxing your vet.
" you said never use soap on your car, it hurt the paint"
I remember Bill....
A wonderful shining STAR has been called home.
Continue to shine in heaven as you did on earth.

Prayers and condolences to the family. I have lost a cousin, friend and family oral historian. There was always lighthearted joking about how family members got their middle names and nicknames. Memories from being the kids in the family to becoming a part of the OG's. He will be missed.

For our beloved sis Kim, remember it's always darkest before its light. "Keep your head up". Your father's home going celebration has just begun. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Your Father will be the only one to enter Saint Peter's Gate on a Harley-Davidson.

To my brother "Bill" I say to you, for your Duty to this grateful nation of ours and your Committed service to our community". Thank you for your service and Job well done.

RIP "Steele". You will be missed!

The brothers: Rick, Brian and Darren (Family)
