Family:
God has been good to us!! We will always remember the good and even cherish what we thought was bad because we now see God's perfect will. The word of God says, "And I will take thee one of a city and two of a family and I will bring you to Zion" We are grateful and thankful to God for what HE has done. Continue to trust in God and forever thank Him for giving us Mack Jr.
I love you. "Overseer Cheryl Alston Palmer" ~ Cheryl~ Prattville, Alabama

Mack was my friend, teammate, and classmate. A proud member of the class of 1966 at Howard High School in Georgetown SC..
Our most sincere condolences to Rose and the rest of his family.
So long my friend, may you rest in peace . To God be the glory!

It was a pleasure taking care of you on Unit 21. Even when you were not feeling up to it you always put your best foot forward. Amazing guy you were!

I was so sorry to hear of Mack's passing. My memories of him as a quiet, gentle and patient man. My prayers to his loving wife and children.

To God be the Glory for the great things He has done! I am grateful for the life of Mack Alston. I had no biological children but Mack Alston was truly like an adopted son to me. I met him in more than thirty years ago and over the years, we enjoyed a beautiful father son relationship. I turned 90 this year and over the years as my health failed, Mack never missed an opportunity to check in on me,

May the peace God gives sustain your family during this difficult time. Lean on one another as the days ahead become too hard to bear alone. Share your memories they will be a source of joy. Seeing the promises in God's word the bible will help you to gain strength and fortify your hearts, granting you comfort. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17; jw.org)
