Mack was the ultimate professional. I am proud to have been his teammate with the Colts for two seasons. I always admired his maturity and continued high level of play as a veteran! Rest in peace and may God Bless his family.

To the Alston Family, I extend my sincere and profound condolences to you on the loss of dear Mack. I fondly remember him as a gentle kind classmate who always had a friendly smile for all. His qualities distinguished him as a very special soul that I remembered many years later when I saw him playing in the NFL. Now that he has abandoned the physical garment and ascended to the spiritual world, I am sure that he will be lovingly welcomed and embraced by God.
With deepest sympathy,
Valerie Dana (nee Watts)

My Condolences to the Alston, Georgetown, and Hawk's Family on the lost of our loved one and brother. As a youngster growing up in Georgetown, and hearing about and watching Mack play, was inspirational and aspiring as a young athlete and made me become part of the UMES-Georgetown pipeline that my predecessors like Mack made possible. God Bless my brother and homey!
